United States National Comorbidity Survey: Reinterview 2001-2002
General Info
The United States National Comorbidity Survey: Reinterview (NCS-2) 2001-2002 is a longitudinal follow-up survey to the United States National Comorbidity Survey: Baseline (NCS-1) 1990-1992. For the NCS-2, 5,001 NCS-1 respondents ages 15-54 were re-interviewed on topics that were covered in the NCS-1, such as the respondent's mental and physical health status, use of health care services, chronic illness, and use of prescription medications. The NCS-2 was conducted with modified versions of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) and Structured Clinical Interview (SCID) for DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition). Additionally, two personality tests were included in the NCS-2.
