Cancer Incidence in Five Continents Time Trends Annual Dataset (Summary and Detailed Databases)
General Info
The CI5plus database contains updated annual incidence rates for 135 selected populations from 111 cancer registries published in CI5, for the longest period available (up to 2012), for all cancers and 28 major types (see the Cancer dictionary).
CI5plus can be used for time trends analyses, but differences over time in registration practices and coding make it necessary to interpret trends with caution. (more information about this is available on the IARC's CI5plus pages: http://ci5.iarc.fr/CI5plus/Default.aspx).
Included are both a summary database with tabulated annual data and a detailed database with a subset of the summary database, including incidence data for histological data available for a minimum of 15 consecutive years.
