Summary 

Crime in the United States (CIUS) is a publication of the Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) Program, published annually by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. It presents data both nationally, regionally, and by state on the nature of offenses, arrests, on numbers of police employees, and contributing agencies. Results are also presented by suburban and nonsuburban areas, metropolitan and nonmetropolitan counties, as well as by state universities and colleges.
