Summary
The Tonga Household Income and Expenditure Survey 2000-2001 (HIES) was undertaken by the Tonga Statistics Department during the period from 1 October 2000 to 30 September 2001. This is the fifth survey of its kind in Tonga. Data was collected about household demographics, education, employment, occupation and industry, and income and expenditure.
