Summary
This report, created by the European Information Network on Drugs and Drug Addiction (REITOX) for the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA), provides an overview of drug use in Spain.
Among the topics covered are: the prevalence of psychoactive substances use, daily tobacco use, cannabis use, cocaine use, ecstasy use, and heroin use. Also covered are the number of patients treated for drug abuse, the number of registered drug trafficking offenses, the number of arrests by type of drug, the number of treatment programs, and the prevalence of HIV and Hepatitis C in prison populations.
