This dataset is composed of tabulations on total deaths by 5-year age group, state, and municipality; annual deaths by sex and state for 2001-2011; and annual deaths by state and municipality for 2007-2011. Death registration data was collected from the registry offices of the Capital District, 23 states, and hundreds of municipalities in Venezuela.
