Saint Kitts and Nevis Contraceptive Prevalence Survey 1984
General Info
This survey was a three-stage probability sample involving the random selection of enumeration districts, systematic sampling of households within each enumeration district, and random identification of an eligible repondent within each household. Only one eligible woman was interviewed per household, and a total of 808 women ages 15 to 44 were interviewed. The survey covered contraceptive awareness, contraceptive use, and family-planning programs.
The International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region published a report on the survey titled Contraceptive Prevalence in St. Kitts-Nevis, the first in a series titled IPPF/WHR Caribbean Contraceptive Prevalence Surveys.
