The Uganda Program for Human and Holistic Development (UPHOLD) was a six-year program funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and supported by the Government of Uganda. UPHOLD was implemented by John Snow, Inc. The aim of the program was to improve delivery, planning management, and monitoring use of social services in health, education, and HIV/AIDs. Its efforts were concentrated in 34 districts.
