Summary: 

Conducted by Peru's National Institute of Mental Health, this survey is an epidemiological study of the mental health characteristics of the population, the prevalence of mental disorders and use of mental health services, and risk and protection factors in Metropolitan Lima and Callao. The study selected four units of analysis: adolescents (12-17 years old), women married or cohabitating, adults 18 years or older, and adults older than 60 years. Approximately 2,400 households were surveyed. The survey interviewed 2,077 adults; 1,838 partnered women; 632 aged adults; 991 adolescents.
