The Somalia Health and Demographic Survey 2018-2019 is the first DHS-like survey produced in Somalia. In addition to basic demographic information, this survey collected information about education, employment, marriage and fertility, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, gender-based violence, female circumcision, chronic diseases, and mortality. Questionnaires were completed for households, ever-married women, never-married women, and maternal mortality. Interviews were conducted with a total of 15,761 households and 16,715 women (11,884 ever-married, and 4,831 never-married). 

While it was based on the content and methodology of a DHS, this survey was planned and carried out independent of the macro DHS series.

The 2018 Vietnam Health Statistics Yearbook is an annual report that contains health data reported to the Vietnam Ministry of Health by various departments, ministries, health programs, and institutes, as well as the 63 provincial health offices in the country. This report includes data covering topics such as morbidity and mortality, demographics, government budgets and expenditures, and health care use and resources.

The sample for the Tonga MICS 2019 was designed to provide estimates for a large number of indicators on the situation of children and women at the national level, for urban and rural areas, and for divisions: Tongatapu, Vava’u, Ha’apai, ‘Eua and Ongo Niua. The urban and rural areas were identified as the main sampling strata and the sample of households was selected in two stages. Within each stratum, a specified number of census enumeration areas were selected systematically with probability proportional to size. After a household listing was carried out within the selected enumeration areas, a systematic sample of 20 households was drawn.

All of the selected enumeration areas were visited during the fieldwork data collection. The sampling frame was based on the 2016 Tonga Census of Population and Housing. It was calculated that 139 sample clusters would need to be selected in total.

The data in Morocco Health in Figures 2016 covers all of 2016. Data were collected from a range of sources, including monthly activity reports of health programs, the tracking of hospital reports, health surveys, and information gathered by other government ministries apart from the Ministry of Health. This report provides distribution tables by region and province for topics such as immunization coverage, hospital staff by specialty, and performance evaluations of health campaigns.
