Cholera vaccines

The third follow-up to the Cebu Longitudinal Health and Nutrition Survey followed the structure of the first follow-up rounds, and added a focus on adolescent reproductive health, sexual behavior, and measurements of physical activity and blood pressure. Physical activity was monitored using a CALTRAC instrument. The mother's questionnaires collected additional information on memory and physical functioning. For a subgroup of a sample, fasting blood samples and saliva were collected. A pilot study on the effects of typhoid immunization was also included.

The modules in this follow-up were divided into modules based on index children: questionnaires were specific for girls, boys, mothers of girls, and mothers of boys. Community and health facility questionnaires were also part of this follow-up survey.

The Sri Lanka Annual Health Bulletin 2001 is produced by the Medical Statistics Unit of the Department of Health Services in the Ministry of Health. The report covers the national healthcare system, including number and types of health care facilities; educational requirements for medical personnel; and government expenditures by program. Morbidity and mortality numbers are provided for noncommunicable diseases. The report also publishes service utilization figures such as provision of services to patients by district and type of facility.

The 1971 Zambia Statisical Yearbook was the fifth annual yearbook to be produced by the country. Data for this report come from both the Central Statistical Office and from various government departments.

Topics covered include land area, population and housing; health; education; labor and employment; agriculture and forestry; livestock and fisheries; transportation and communications; mining, commerce and industry; joint stock companies and cooperative societies; banking; insurance; public finance; the second national development plan; foreign trade and balance of payments; prices; and national accounts. Population numbers for January and February of 1972 are provided.

The Saudi Arabia Statistical Yearbook is an annual publication of the Central Department of Statistics and Information. It contains a comprehensive collection of statistical data for the various activities of the government ministries. The chapters contain information on: climate, education, health, transportation and communications, industry, import and export trade, finance and banking, and social services.
