The 2005-2006 National Survey of Children With Special Health Care Needs was a survey conducted by The National Center for Health Statistics at the CDC, and the second to be done so in the series. Children under 18 years of age were screened for special health care needs and interviewed via telephone regarding their health and functional status. The questionnaire subject matter included emotional and behavioral health, access to health care, coordination of care services, and the impact of chronic conditions on families. The sample size for the survey consisted of 40,840 completed interviews in the main sample, In addition to a newly included national referent sample of 6,113 children without special health care needs.

The United States National Comorbidity Survey: Replication (NCS-R) 2001-2003 is a nationally representative household survey on the mental health of 9,282 noninstitutionalized persons, 18 years and older in the United States. Respondents were interviewed by trained personnel with modified versions of the Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) and the Structured Clinical Interview (SCID) for DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition). A subsample of 5692 respondents were asked additional questions on risk factors, and correlates associated with the mental health disorders. The NCS-R is released with the United States Collaborative Psychiatric Epidemiology Surveys (CPES) 2001-2003 and is part of the United States National Comorbidity Survey (NCS) series family.

The Tunisian Family Health Survey 2001 was conducted by the National Office of Family and Population in collaboration with the Pan Arab Project for Family Health (PAPFAM). The sample covered 6,083 households, 3,902 ever married women ages 15 to 49, and 5,429 never married adults ages 18 to 29.

The survey used five questionnaires covering the following topics: housing characteristics; health status; knowledge of contraception and sexually-transmitted diseases; reproductive health; use of health services; and available services and equipment at health facilties.

The Annual Poverty Indicators Survey (APIS) is a nationwide survey designed to provide non-income indicators related to poverty at the national and regional levels. It is designed to gather data on the socio-economic profile of families and other information that are related to their living conditions.
