Summary 

The Labor Force Survey conducted in 2011 collected nationally-representative data regarding labor and employment in Zimbabwe. The objectives of the survey included collecting information on the informal and formal employment sectors, number of child laborers, the impact of work on child laborers, and the living conditions and characteristics of the population. 

Data were collected through a questionnaire. The survey successfully canvassed 9,359 households. The targeted populations included people of working age, 15 years and older, as well as child laborers ages 5-17 years.
