Summary 

The Behavioral Risks and HIV Serostatus (BSS) Survey was conducted to gather information on prevalence, risk factors, and knowledge of HIV, and the awareness of available HIV and AIDS services in the Chimanimani district of Zimbabwe. Data were collected with blood tests and questionnaires. The participants consisted of adults ages 25 and above, young adults ages 15-24, children ages 12-14, and guardians of children ages 2-11. A total of 2,872 individuals completed questionnaires and provided blood samples.
