Summary 

The purpose of this survey was to investigate the levels of nutrition and malnutrition present in children aged 6-59 months. The survey also sought to estimate crude and under-five death rates. To collect this information, this survey adopted the UNICEF Standardized Monitoring and Assessment for Relief and Transition (SMART) methodology.

The data were collected through in-person household interviews and anthropometric measurements taken from children. This survey took place in the mountainous and coastal zones in Hajjah. The sample size for this survey was 579 mountainous zone households and 644 coastal zone households.
