Summary 

The World Malaria Report 2009 summarizes data from national malaria control programs from 108 malaria-endemic countries and other sources such as household surveys. The report describes trends in funding, transmission, and intervention. Graphs and tables display populations at risk, vector species, malaria financing, number of cases, and admissions and deaths for each parasite species.
