Summary

The 2009-2010 Uganda National Household Survey (UNHS) consisted of six modules: socioeconomic, labor force, informal sector, community, price, and qualitative modules. The main objective of the survey was to collect data on socioeconomic characteristics at both the household and community levels. A total of 6,800 households were included in the sample.

In a report available from the Uganda Bureau of Statistics, separate analysis is presented for Kampala district, due to its effect on indicators for the Central region. Where analysis for Kampala district is presented, it is excluded from the Central region analysis.
