Summary 

In the Young People's Tobacco Use, Knowledge, and Attitudes Survey, adolescents aged 13, 15, and 17 years are surveyed on their use and opinions of smoking and chewing tobacco, with a goal of understanding how parents influence adolescents' use or non-use of tobacco. Questionnaires were mailed to 4,500 teenagers' homes, 1,500 per age group, with a final sample of 3,737 individuals.
