Summary

The Castile-Leon Cardiovascular Risk Factors Study - Intermediate Study 2009 is the 5-year follow-up survey to the Castile-Leon Cardiovascular Risk Factors Study - Baseline Study 2004. The objective of this round was to provide an analysis of the most relevant risk factors to the area including hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia, among others. A total of 2,954 participants out of the initial 4,013 sample participated in this round, which resulted in changes in the gender representativeness of the sample. Survey results were published in reports comparing the findings with those of the baseline survey. Tables in the reports are aggregated by sex, health district, age groups, and type of area.

This round preceded the final follow-up conducted in 2014.
