Summary

The Sierra Leone Labor Force Survey conducted in 2014 collected information on employment, income, education, training, working conditions, injuries, farming activity, and household characteristics. It was the first labor force survey conducted in the country since 1984. Data were collected through a questionnaire which contained two modules: a non-farm enterprise module and a farm enterprise module.

The first module was administered to all individuals within working ages 15-64 years, except for section J which collected data on time use and other activities and was administered to individuals ages 5 and up. The second module was administered to the head of household only. The sample size for this survey was 4,200 households.
