Summary 

This survey was a probability sample involving a multi-stage cluster sample selecting enumeration districts, with probability of selection proportionate to their size. Only one eligible woman was interviewed per household, and a total of 1,001 women ages 15 to 44 were interviewed. The survey covered contraceptive awareness, contraceptive use, and family planning programs.

The International Planned Parenthood Federation, Western Hemisphere Region published a report on the survey titled Contraceptive Prevalence in St. Vincent, the fourth in a series titled IPPF/WHR Caribbean Contraceptive Prevalence Surveys.  Some libraries may be able to procure this report through the interlibrary loan system.
