Summary

The 2004 census surveyed all individuals, both nationals and foreigners, within the regional boundaries of the country on March 16, 2004. Excluded from the census are all births after the enumeration date and deaths before it. The census surveyed buildings, businesses, institutions, labor camps, and transients found at airports, hotels, and border crossings.

The report contains thorough documentation on the data collection process and definitions of terms with questionnaires included in the appendix. Comprehensive tabulations report the numbers of live births, educational attainment, occupation statistics, housing conditions, and the use of computers. A section on disability includes questions related to congenital and pathological disabilities as well as disabilities caused by accidents. Tables on demographic and health data are broken down by nationality, sex, and age group.
