Summary 

The Qatar MICS was carried out in 2012 by the Qatar Statistics Agency in collaboration with the Supreme Council of Health, with technical support from UNICEF. The Qatar MICS is part of the fourth round of the MICS international survey initiative to monitor the situation of children and women. The survey covers health, education, child protection, and HIV/AIDS knowledge.

Interviews were completed for 4,502 households. Interviews were successfully completed for 5,701 women and 5,632 men. In addition, questionnaires were completed for 2,082 children.
