Summary

The Public Health Agency of Sweden and Region Stockholm conducted a SARS-CoV-2 antibody prevalence survey in the Rinkeby-Kista district in the city of Stockholm in June 2020. The survey showed that approximately 19 percent of the population had detectable antibodies. 538 randomly selected individuals, between the ages of 16 and 70, participated in the survey. Volunteers had blood drawn from the arm, and the blood sample was subsequently analyzed at a laboratory for the detection of antibodies (IgG) against SARSCoV-2. In addition to the antibody testing, background variables from the population register were analyzed in order to determine if they are associated with the risk of contracting the infection.
