Posttraumatic stress disorder following injury: trajectories and health-related quality of life

The sample for this follow up survey was chosen from injured people, 18 and older, who visited select emergency departments in the Netherlands from February 1, 2007 to January 31, 2008. The patients completed postal questionnaires 2.5, 5, 9, and 24 months after they were selected to determine the functional outcomes of hospitalized and nonhospitalized injury patients at these intervals after an injury.
