Summary 

This survey, abbreviated as EIH, was one of the first surveys executed as part of the Program for the Improvement of Surveys and the Measurement of Living Conditions in Latin America and the Caribbean (MECOVI). A sample of 4,353 households were interviewed on topics of household demographics, migration, education, health, employment, income, and expenditures. The health module included sections on fertility, child anthropometry, child health, and vaccinations.
