Summary 

The World Health Survey Plus (WHS+) was implemented in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in order to collect comparable data for informing strategic planning, program management, monitoring, and evaluation. The Oman World Health Survey 2007-2008 collected socioeconomic, demographic, and health data, particularly related to wellbeing, health care utilization, and risk factors for various diseases. Additionally, the survey collected data about attitudes and practices around reproductive health, congenital anomalies, and genetic disorders in Oman.
