Summary

Produced by the Norwegian Institute of Public Health, Norhealth is a health information system containing statistics on key health and health-related indicators for the Norwegian population. The data presented comes from national health registers and surveys.

Norhealth's statistics on vaccination coverage are based on data collected from the Childhood Vaccination Register (SYSVAK). They cover the percentage of children aged 2, 9 (before 2012: 6) and 16 years who have been fully vaccinated against whooping cough (pertussis), diphteria, tetanus, measles/ mumps/ rubella (MMR), poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib), tuberculosis, Pneumococcus and human papilloma virus (HPV, girls only). In addition to age, vaccine, and year, the data are broken down at the county (admin 1) level.
