Summary 

The Nigeria Malaria Indicator Survey was conducted as part of round 6 of the DHS. The MIS is a household survey designed to collect national and regional data on malaria control and prevention efforts, treatment, and prevalence in children five and under with fever.

In addition to the household and women's questionnaires, blood tests were administered to test for malaria parasitemia and anemia in children under five.

The sample size was 5,895 households and 6,344 women ages 15-49.
