Summary

The Mozambique household survey, which is also called the household budget survey, included a CWIQ/QUIBB module. It had a sample size of 8,727 households (4020 urban and 4707 rural). The survey used four questionnaires: a community questionnaire for rural areas; a household questionnaire for housing characteristics, amenities, education, health and employment; a daily household expenses questionnaire tracking 7 days of expenditures; and a monthly expenses and income questionnaire. The survey was designed to produce estimates of household expenditure and income at the national, provincial, and rural and urban level. A report is available from the Mozambique statistical office.
