Summary 

This is one of many international fertility surveys, conducted in the 1970s and 1980s.  These household interviews include questions regarding use of contraceptives, reproductive health, breastfeeding, complete birth histories, and fertility. Respondents of this survey are women (aged 20-49).  This survey was conducted simultaneously as a subset of the National Household Survey and also includes information about respondents' spouses, employment, occupation, income, and living and housing conditions.
