Summary 

The Malawi Malaria Indicator Survey (MIS) 2017 is part of phase 7 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series. Malaria Indicator Surveys are designed to provide information on malaria prevalence, treatment, and prevention practices. For the 2017 Malawi MIS, 3,860 women ages 15-49 from 3,729 households were successfully interviewed. Blood tests were conducted for anemia, and malaria in children ages 6-59 months.
