Summary 

This survey, also known as LECS, is conducted every five years. During the third survey 8,100 households were surveyed. Data was collected via a household questionnaire, a household diary, a time use questionnaire, a price questionnaire on prices for 92 basic goods and services, a village questionnaire, and a primary school questionnaire. Topics covered by these questionnaires included demographics, access to services, agriculture, economic conditions, education, the labor force, victimization, nutrition, child anthropometry, health, assets, housing conditions, businesses, expenditures, income, and finances.
