Summary

The National Nutrition Survey covers topics of health status and dietary intake. The survey was conducted in three consecutive days and it contained three components: an individual dietary questionnaire, a household nutrition survey, and an individual physical condition survey. The latter survey included blood tests (for women only) and measurements for height, weight, blood pressure, and subcutaneous fat. The National Nutrition Survey began in 1946 and it is usually performed during the month of November. Since 2002, it has been known as the National Health and Nutrition Survey.
