Summary 

The Japan Survey on Dental Diseases gathers data on the dental health of the country. A dental exam and interview collects information on prevalence of dental caries, edentulism, cavities, fillings, number of missing and permanent teeth, prosthetics, implants, temporomandibular, bite quality, oral hygiene, and fluoride treatments. The 2016 survey was the 9th in the series.
