Since 1989 the Survey of Household Income and Wealth (SHIW) has included a panel portion. For the 1994 survey households were interviewed  on the topics of sources of income, components of wealth, public services, and social mobility. Although the survey was conducted in 1994, the questions pertained to household activities and conditions in 1993.
