The self-completed questionnaire collected information on students' health status, health behaviors, physical activity, sexual behavior, and substance use. The use of a standardized questionnaire allows for data analysis at the national level as well as comparison of data across countries.

The total sample size for the survey was 205,938 students. The sample size for Israel was 5,686 students.
