Summary 

The Ethiopia Demographic and Health Survey 2010-2011 is part of phase 6 of the Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) series. Topics commonly covered in DHS include child and maternal health, family planning, health care access, education attainment, housing conditions, immunization, and health attitudes, knowledge and practices.

The sample for the 2010-2011 Ethiopia DHS was 16,702 households, 16,515 women age 15-49, and 14,110 men age 15-49. Female and male participants were measured and tested for anemia and HIV and children in the households under 5 were measured and tested for anemia.
