Summary 

The purpose of this survey was to collect data on the nutritional status of children up to 5 years old. Results from this survey were compared to the 1996 results along with changes in social conditions during that period.

The sample size was 5,801 households.  Interviews were conducted on the child's diet and food consumption and expenditures. Anthropometric measures were also taken on 2,998 children.
