The Costa Rican Longevity and Healthy Aging Study (CRELES) is a nationally-representative longitudinal survey of 2,827 Costa Ricans age 60 and older. This survey wave, the second round, collected information from 2,364 participants. Topics studied include health status, mental health, living conditions, health behaviors, health care use, social support, and socioeconomic status. Anthropometric measurements and blood tests were also collected.
