Summary 

The Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) is designed to produce national and subnational estimates on tobacco use. The 2017 Botswana GATS surveyed men and women aged 15 and older. A total of 4,643 individuals were interviewed. The survey featured questions on smoking and smokeless tobacco use, cessation, secondhand smoke, economics, media, and knowledge, attitude, and perceptions.
