Summary

A portion of those households surveyed in the 2001 LSMS were re-interviewed for the second wave of this panel survey, also known as the Living in BiH survey. While comparable to the earlier LSMS and available through the World Bank, support from the World Bank was more limited. The panel survey sample consisted of over 3,000 households from the LSMS. For the most part, the questionnaire for wave 2 aligned with wave 1; however, the food consumption module and some of the detailed health status questions, education expenditure and access questions, and credit questions were dropped, and new subjective questions on living conditions were added. The agriculture section was also not included.

A data file for all four waves of the survey is also available from the World Bank.
