Summary

The 2013 National Child Activity Survey examined the economic and non-economic activities involving children, and monitored progress towards the reduction and elimination of child labor in Belize. Data were collected through two questionnaires. The household questionnaire established household rosters, and interviewed all members and covered topics such as education and housing. The children's questionnaire collected data on labor force participation for household members ages 5 and up and other activities for children ages 5-17. The children's questionnaire covered topics such as past economic activity, occupational safety and risks, and household work. The survey successfully canvassed 5,551 households.
