Topics covered in the MICS are intended to provide data that can be used to assess progress towards mid-decade goals defined at the United Nations 1990 World Summit for Children. The 1994 Bangladesh MICS provides information on immunization, family planning, education, and child and maternal health in Bangladesh. Data was gathered from household interviews of women of reproductive age and caretakers of children.
