Summary

The 2011 Angola Malaria Indicator Survey used a nationally representative sample of 8,000 households. All women ages 15 to 49 who were either residents or had spent the previous night were eligible to be interviewed individually. The questionnaires covered topics such as malaria prevention during pregnancy and treatment of fevers in children under five years. A third of households in the survey sample were selected for testing for anemia and malaria among children between 6 and 59 months old.
