United States National Health Measurement Study 2005-2006
General Info
The purpose of the survey was to compare commonly used survey instruments related to health and quality of life and to obtain age and gender benchmarks for health measures in the adult U.S. population. This survey interviewed a sample of 3,844 adults aged 35-89 using a computer assisted telephone interview system. Four questionnaires were randomly used during the survey: the SF-36v2, the Health Utilities, Inc. questionnaire, the EuroQol EQ-5D questionnaire and the Quality of Well-being scale questionnaire. Respondents were asked to self report on height, weight, body mass index, overall health status, health conditions and risk factors, and mental health.
