Summary
The Iraq MICS was carried out in 2011 by the Iraq Central Organization for Statistics and Information Technology and the Kurdistan Regional Statistics Office in collaboration with the Iraq Ministry of Health, with technical support from UNICEF. The Iraq MICS is part of the fourth round of the MICS international survey initiative to monitor the situation of children and women. The survey covers health, education, child protection, and HIV/AIDS.
Interviews were successfully completed for 35,701 households. In addition, a women's questionnaire was completed for 55,194 women, and an under-five questionnaire was completed for mothers or caretakers of 36,307 children.
