Summary
The 2002 epidemiological yearbook contains data on the annual incidence of 54 notifiable diseases, as reported to the Robert Koch Institute. For each condition, tables and graphs provide case numbers, and incidence rates by region, sex, and 5-year age groups. Number of deaths are given for select conditions. A summary table presents the total number of cases and incidence rates for 2001 (updated numbers) and 2002.
