Summary
This report contains cancer incidence statistics for more than half of the Swiss cantons, along with estimates for the whole country. Coverage is much higher (98%) for the French and Italian-speaking cantons than for the German-speaking cantons (47%). The report presents incidence numbers, crude rates, age-specific rates, and age-standardized rates. Tables are broken down by sex and age groups (0-19, 20-49, 50-69, and 70+). Statistics are presented for 5 year blocks of time rather than individual years. Cancers are coded in ICD-10.
