Australia Longitudinal Study of Children, Wave 3 2007-2008

Wave 3 of the Australia Longitudinal Study of Children followed two cohorts of 5000 children each. Successive waves of this survey will follow cohorts through adulthood. Survey respondents included parents or other individuals, study children, and teachers. Questions covered topics such as types of food consumed, access to different types of services, speech and cognitive abilities, physical fitness, life-changing events, characteristics of child's day care or school, family activities, child's relationship with biological parents, child support, work schedule, neighborhood characteristics, and child behavior. Parents were also asked about their feelings toward their children. Caretakers completed a diary questionnaire about childrens' behavior and activities on a given day.
